What made you decide to become a published author?
I have always had a lot to say and a very strong inner voice. I feel I have a lot to offer my readers and society. I also wanted to open my reader’s minds to different things they may have never been open to before, or may have never thought of previously.
Would you consider your latest book, Let’s talk about tickling, to be a one of a kind? How so?
Yes. There are several books surfacing about tickling, most of them fiction, but I haven’t really found any that delve quite as deeply into the psychological aspects of the tickling fetish as let’s talk about tickling does.
What makes my book unique is how it taps into the emotional and spiritual parts of tickling and how tickling and laughter can actually better our lives.
Where is your writing sanctuary?
I write from my Manhattan apartment. I sit by my computer with a gorgeous view of the city skyline that helps to inspire me.
What inspires you?
Music. I have over 47,000 songs in my iTunes library. Emotions inspire me, all different emotions. My own thoughts inspire me and often the thoughts of others trigger my inspiration. A good movie, book, or dramatic soap opera scene can get my inspiration churning as well.
You’re concocting a recipe for a best selling book. What’s the first ingredient?
Having a good, strong and solid idea and molding it until it becomes a masterpiece.
What’s one fun fact about your book people should know?
Tickling is the gateway to sex.
Did any real life experiences find their way into your book?
Yes, my own personal feelings and experiences did make their way into the book.
Aside from writing, what’s your passion?
Listening to music and writing songs are big passions of mine. I also love the paranormal and the metaphysical realm. I used to be a professional clairvoyant for many years. I enjoy helping people using my psychic ability and I love reading metaphysical non-fiction.
Laughter is a big passion of mine. I like to find ways to bring more laughter into my life for healing purposes and for pure enjoyment. Of course, tickling is a passion of mine as well.
What’s next for you?
Over the coming months I will be promoting my new book. I may go back to a fiction book I was working on, but I am exploring other writing ideas as well. I often end up surprising myself. I never know what I might create next. That is part of the fun of being a writer and creative being.
